Now more than ever it’s important to become intentional about our body’s mineral balance.
Minerals are the 60 or so metallic elements that power all our body’s enzymatic reactions - the chemistry of our lives, the “spark plugs” of our energy. There are nutritional minerals like the electrolytes that nourish and sustain us, and there are toxic minerals, like heavy metals, that wreak havoc on our bodies and brains.
Mineral balance has, and always will be essential to health. However, due to devitalized soil and food, heavy metal body-burden, and unprecedented levels of stress that rapidly diminish our mineral reserves…we are more depleted than ever.
Rebalancing minerals is often the critical step that allows a woman to regain hormone balance, reset her metabolism, and have a greater sense of wellbeing. This is so often the case that mineral imbalance is one of the first things we consider with all patients in our practice.
