New Speakers Announced for November 8 TechWomen Power Breakfast
Star Dargin and James Hannon to speak about what it means to “go Agile”
New speakers have been announced for the next Power Breakfast, which is Wednesday, November 8 from 7:30 to 9 am at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road in Bedford. Unforseen circumstances have necessitated the selection of new speakers for the breakfast. The networking and educational event, hosted by the New Hampshire High Tech Council (Council), will feature Star Dargin of Star Leadership, and James Hannon of NeuEon, Inc. The focus of the November breakfast will be on Agile Scrum – a way to manage a software development project – and what its impact is on companies and individuals today. Read more.
The TechWomen Power Breakfast series is part of the Council’s TechWomen|TechGirls initiative that builds on a strong community of women enthusiastic about technology and supporting efforts where girls are exploring STEM as a career or area of study. TechWomen|TechGirls holds programs for professional women to connect, collaborate and explore ideas around career development, technology initiatives, and innovation. The initiative also deploys volunteers and mentors to support academic STEM initiatives and events for girls across New Hampshire.
“We are excited to offer a place for women in the technology fields to come together and create lasting meaningful relationships while learning from each other’s successes,” said Candice Benson of Benson Consulting and chair of the TechWomen Power Breakfast committee. “We have a lot of brilliant women in our community and we are thrilled to be able to celebrate and support them with our power breakfast series.”
The breakfast series will take place the second Wednesday of every month.
The TechWomen|TechGirls breakfast series is sponsored by TD Bank, Measured Progress and Newforma.
