November 2 Cybersecurity Event Offers Insights into Challenges of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy in the Health-Tech Industry
The event, titled “Cybersecurity and Data Privacy in 2017,” will focus on safety and data security risks in the digital world. A panel will discuss a case study of a recent ransomware attack, its impact on company operations and preventative and responsive tactics.
“The upcoming cybersecurity event will shed light on one of the most pressing concerns in the health-tech industry,” said Cindy Conde, chair of the BioTech/MedTech Cluster committee. “Health-tech offers so many opportunities and advancements to society, but it is not without its risks. The panel of experts will provide insights from years of industry experience that will help to better prepare all of us for the challenges we may face.” Read more.
