November 2 Cybersecurity Event Offers Insights into Challenges of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy in the Health-Tech Industry

The event, titled “Cybersecurity and Data Privacy in 2017,” will focus on safety and data security risks in the digital world. A panel will discuss a case study of a recent ransomware attack, its impact on company operations and preventative and responsive tactics.

“The upcoming cybersecurity event will shed light on one of the most pressing concerns in the health-tech industry,” said Cindy Conde, chair of the BioTech/MedTech Cluster committee. “Health-tech offers so many opportunities and advancements to society, but it is not without its risks.
